Something for my SIPP?

#361236

Postby flyer61 » November 29th, 2020, 5:38 pm

At a loss at the moment of what of do with dividend income sitting in my SIPP. No plans to take anymore income from it this tax year.

So what would you go for....must be growthy! My inbuilt radar is saying inflation is coming.

Would anybody be unhappy with any of these or have you better ideas?

ULVR - Unilever - Presently 3.6% of my SIPP
BWRM - it is my nod to natural resources and in particular gold. (3.3%)
VMID - Cover for my 'UK' exposure (1%)
Intertek (1%) long term growth story intact after not that great recent results.
Disney (1%) have purchased recently at $125 - like the long term story but it has put on 20 dollars since then.

A Japan suggestion? An AI ETF?

Flyer - income and capital are the same thing, especially in a tax-free SIPP.

So just buy what you think will go up; or buy a secure high-yielder - previously would have said RECI
but they've climbed to 139p; so perhaps now would say back into RGL as they've drifted back from
83p to 78.5p for an 8.1% yield.

In that REIT sector also bought this week into office specialists CLI & MCKS.

Not a bad idea. Nick Train has a few good holdings in FGT and he holds some shares in FGT too.
