X-ray production technology hasn't change much since it was discovered by Rontgen and for which he was awarded a Nobel Prize in 1901.

An Israel business claim to have developed a much simpler x-ray generator that can be manufactured for very low cost with the business believing that it will cost so little that everyone alive on planet earth will have access to an affordable 1 scan per year:

Scroll down for video.

The market cap is over $2.7b and the sales are zero and many of the folk who advised shorting Tesla are advising to short NNOX.

The equity price has more than tripled since the low on the first month after the IPO in August of 2020.

I have no idea if the tech is genuine. It is certainly plausible, but as to whether it is real or a scam I don't know.

If the tech works, the current price massively under prices the business imho.

Should the tech work, then there are various exit routes: Take over by a big player in the existing body scanner market, organic growth, large capital injection from angels,...

With potentially such a large market and a low price, a successful nnox would change the medical industry world wide in a disruptive manner not only for the business that supply medical technology, but as the company envisages AI processing of the images, will have a huge impact on medical personal, making the concept of every individual having their own cyber Doctor from birth a likely outcome. If e.g. NNOX were integrated with the starlink network, everyone on earth could have their own instantly available medical records in the cloud. This kind of diagnostic information would likely revolutionise the treatment of human illness.

On the other hand, if the tech doesn't work the business is massively over priced.
