Following today's results from Burford (a regular on these boards), I happened across an article
Burford Capital predicts spike in business, shares jump
http://finance.digitallook.com/news/30590796/Burford_Capital_predicts_spike_in_business_shares_jump.html or
https://www.sharecast.com/news/aim-bulletin/burford-capital-predicts-spike-in-business-shares-jump--7449984.html
Mr Boggart is quoted as saying: wrote:And much as we share the world's distress at our current health crisis, the reality is that we expect its aftermath to be a time of significant demand for our services and a moment when uncorrelated cash flowers are especially attractive."
Someone can't do a simple copy and paste becuase the RNS release has it right
https://www.investegate.co.uk/burford-capital-ltd--bur-/rns/2020-portfolio-progress---full-year-results-2019/202004280700111232L/
And much as we share the world's distress at our current health crisis, the reality is that we expect its aftermath to be a time of significant demand for our services and a moment when uncorrelated cash flows are especially attractive."
The flowers smell even sweeter if Burford hadn't cut their final dividend, usually the larger of the two ("Given the economic uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Directors are not proposing payment of a final dividend for 2019.")
(I'm sure someone will be along shortly to edit the relevant sharecast/DL articles to correct the anomaly, but it amused me!)
