Going to London Jan 4th 2023 from central Wiltshire to see "Come from away" matinee.
initial plan was train - but there's a rail strike.
however, from what I can glean tubes and busses will be running so the next idea is to drive "close" - outside the congestion charge zone thingy presumably? ( Car is a Renault Clio, diesel, 62 plate, VED is £0 a year) - and tube or bus it into the west End (Phoenix Theatre for the record )
Can anybody suggest a suitable place to drive to and park via M4/M3 for such an attempt? WRT parking near the tube station/bus stop hints here would be useful too, but parkonmydrive and similar sites are also useful so dont get hung up on "has to have a car park etc"
cheers

Hounslow West.
Convenient for the west and the west end, has parking at the station. I've not used it but Mrs DM has.
