I humbly confess I was wrong. I was firmly in the old fart's camp when the 100 version started. Like I was when T20 got underway.
Now I love it all!
I had no idea that the white ball stuff would compliment the trad stuff so well. I had thought it was the enemy of test criicket.
The white-ball is such fun in its own right but the effect on particularly England's test team has been fantastic. White-ball has, improved fielding dramatically, as it has the bowling with spinners playing such an important part. Then of course the batting. The fast scoring of WB has blended into test cricket and given it a desperately needed injection of excitement and fun.
May I also say the the females now involved in the BBC's coverage,Isa and Ebony in particular have added greatly to my enjoyment overall.

Re: White ball cricket
Hi Leo.
I think you were right before.
IMO, the only thing worth watching is Test Cricket and the 50 over World Cup (the least bad way of doing a "quick" world cup).
Regards, Newroad
