After a week of pretty boring flat stuff, the tour came alive yesterday on the second day of 3 alpine stages. Team Sky's Geraint Thomas attacked from someway out and looked incredibly strong on the ascent. He now leads the race by 1m 25 seconds from Team Sky's other no.1, Chris Froome.
It's the 3rd mountain today and the famous Alpe d'Huez. I expect Thomas/Froome & Team Sky to confirm their complete dominance of this years race.

It'll be interesting to see what happens within Sky now. Will they let their riders fight it out between themselves, or will they put their weight behind either Thomas or Froome? Wouldn't surprise me if they plump for Thomas. If I was in charge of Sky, I'd prefer the team to have a new poster boy, adds interest to the sport and Thomas comes (I assume) without any baggage, fair or unfair.

Re: The LemonFool Tour de France Thread
Just how difficult is it to time individual riders and then place them in the correct sequence at the end of a Stage?
