Europa League Final: Midnight Kick Off
Where and when will the final be held?
The Olympic Stadium in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
Kick Off: Midnight Local Time (8pm BST) 29th May.
Tickets now on sale a third off
Cheapest ticket price now 30 Euros ...
https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11959/11650869/uefa-cut-ticket-prices-for-europa-league-final-in-azerbaijan
Average flying time from London to Baku 6 hours 15 minutes direct.
I may be wrong, but with 37,500 tickets to be shared by [expletive deleted] and Chelsea, I don’t think there is going to be a scramble for tickets.

Heard on the radio this morning, there are no direct flights to Baku that week.
So for a laugh you look on cheapflights for the options, most entertaining looking and cheapest (£480) got you a late evening in Dublin, and an afternoon in Riga on the way, but got you there 26 hours later and after the match unfortunately.
Leaving on the Monday gives more options around the £550 make, if you fancied making a week of it!
No, there's probably not a scramble for tickets.

According to the BBC only 6,000 tickets each for [expletive deleted] & Chelsea.

Of course UEFA wouldn't possibly consider changing the venue.
Fans given no consideration whatsoever.

Well, seeing as it's Chelsea and [expletive deleted] supporters, on this occasion I'll let them off

The two clubs with the most expensive tickets in the prem. Surely they can afford it. I was going to say surely they could charter a plane or two. But I note it is also the day the school holidays start, so probably not even many spare planes about.
Brilliant example of EUFA organisation. Someone must have got a huge backhander for that one.

The info I've found conflicts this. I quote the BBC website "Liverpool and Tottenham fans will share 33,226 tickets for the Champions League final in Madrid on 1 June, which takes place in a stadium with 68,000 seats.
Europa League finalists [expletive deleted] and Chelsea share 12,000 of 68,700 seats."

When you see it pictorially, it looks absolutely shocking -
I can only assume the organisers knew no-one could actually get there to watch the game anyway.....

Well, yes, I'd be shocked if they stuck the two sets of fans next to each other. Not that they don't deserve each other!
All the best, Si

Do you think they provide binoculars to see the game?

Why not borrow a pair from an Iron? They'd feel right at home there by the looks of it.
