It has been some week. Will it be the case of "after the Lord Mayor's show" for Liverpool? Probably not. Difficult to see anything other than wins for both the leaders this afternoon. City will surely overcome a poor Brighton team as surely as Liverpool will be too hot against a good Wolves side.
However if we've learned anything from this week, footie can be far from predictable.
A fantastic season and the EPL will profit from an even higher profile around the world. It was interesting to see an interview with Liverpool fans before their epic SF, that two Brazilian fans had flown over for the match. I'm not that surprised when you get fans from countries with a much lower standard in their own national leagues but Brazil? An illustration of the impact of the EPL globally.

Re: EPL decider
Congratulations to City.
To follow up such a monumental 100-point season last year with another consistent season - 95 goals scored and 98 points gained - what a manager Pep is.
For City to win the league off the back of Kompany's scorcher last week seems fitting enough for their top, top Captain too. What a goal, and what a time to score it....
Kudos to Brighton for putting up a fight too.
Cheers,

If you look around almost all sport, barring the odd freakish result, money talks and money wins.
But if we look just 4 short miles West of the Etihad Stadium, we'll find that's not always the case....

Re: EPL decider
First of all, UEFA don't have the balls to sanction big money clubs... due to the fact that they have big money. Have you ever asked yourselves how come nobody sanctions PSG? They're like the biggest "FU Fair Play" club on earth, yet still go unpunished. The only ones who paid were actually AC Milan, but how easy is that to kick someone when he's on the ground, right?
As for Pep - oh, he's one hell of a coach. There are so many videos that document the way he trains his teams. This guy is so fanatic & perfectionist about his ideas. He's one of the biggest spending managers in football's history but take nothing away from his success & credit he deserves.
