Given the success of Liverpool, shouldn’t they now break free of the Premier League? Why pay a fortune to the bureaucrats running football? Liverpool should surely leave the League without paying any more dues and negotiate lucrative playing agreements with the top clubs in China the USA, India, Africa and the rest of the world.
Liverpool already have a red bus, they could use it for publicity. What about a slogan - “We send £5 million a week to the Premier League, let’s fund our supporters instead”. And they could promise free seats to all supporters and free pies at half time.
They could ask Nigel for advice and perhaps even get him to negotiate with those despicable bureaucrats in the FA and Premier League. Just ask him to shout abuse at them, they’ll soon give in.
I don’t want to be too ambitious, but after successfully leaving, earning much more from their international fixtures and providing free tickets for all their supporters, the club could surely offer to give advice to the new Prime Minister?
Ambitious enough?
