You can't knock results.

A vital point in [expletive deleted]'s fight to avoid relegation!

Looks like Pep has already started his holiday.

Is
Others say annual dirty cheating scumbags and no way to get results but with useless referring they get away with it.

Lets hope they do go down then.

No interest in Pep at all.

ALL clubs do this .

encouraged by the RULES .

the RULES have to change.

i want to watch football , not theatre .

:x

Generally not true JD, depends how many foreign personnel/players are in their team.

There are no RULES in Association Football.. they are all Laws.

Watch Burnley then.

==========

i stand corrected re laws/rules.

not clear on your statement on foreign etc ... can you clarify please ?

ps. i vaguely recall that burnley have few "foreign" players , but could be completely wrong on that .

:?

I only know about the laws/rules terminology because a ref pointed it out to me a long time ago.

Well do you remember when C4 used to show a match every Sunday from the Italian League in the 80’s I think, and as well as games being very very defensive games they seemed to littered with players play acting and cheating. The South American’s were also at it as well so that’s where my thinking was.

Your right Burnley don’t they also have a non foreign manager who instils in them not to cheat and dive all over the place.

i do admire managers who work against the diving/acting ploy .

many managers are culpable in the players behaviour .

diving/acting is clearly not restricted to "foreign" players alone .

:(

No I agree seem to remember that Dirty Leeds were up to all sorts of tricks under Revie in the 70’s.

Burnley continue their improvement with a 3-0 stuffing against Bournemouth at the Fortress.

But all the commentators on R5 wanted to talk about was poor old Bournemouth and how VAR was used against them, a pity there don’t backing Burnley when they have had a rough deal with it .. a bit pathetic really.

Another point but in reality should be going for all three the way Newcastle are performing from my point of view.

But although I'm naturally delighted that at long last the title is in sight I really don't think that such a huge gap is good for anyone. I watched the Watford game on Saturday, and Liverpool played really poorly and deserved to lose. For several weeks now they've rarely played really well, and have often just squeezed a win out.

I'm pretty sure this is a direct result of that massive lead. Although I don't think most of the players have consciously decided to lower the tempo they can't help but be psychologically affected by knowing that they could have a disastrous run and still win.

I'd imagine there must be many occasions when a player is considering a tackle but decides against it because they don't want to risk injury, or avoids taking a shot at goal for fear of cocking it up, when if they were actually competing for the title they would take the risk, and thereby make for a more exciting game.

This is not to decry the players or their attitude at all - I'm sure that most of them have professional pride and think they're trying hard - but if you aren't hungry you're not going to fight for your dinner.

Thanks to my dad I follow Crystal Palace. Something hard to forgive.
CPFC have managed to amass 36 points by scoring fewer goals than any other team in the EPL.

The big question is: are Liverpool going to win another match this season?

Well Burnley had most of the play in the first half but no good unless converted to goals and the Spurs keeper had a very good game I thought, an obvious penalty for Wood being bundled over not given would have only been justice done.

Mourinho looked particularly morbid on the bench I thought.

Roses are Red,
Violets are Blue,
If it wasn't for Oil,
You'd be in League 2...

How many more times do we need to win Pep?
