Watching Ireland v Wales and I just wish that the commentators would SHUT UP for a minute or two.
Its TV not radio.

I can't comment directly, not having seen the match, but from lots of experience it is unusual to come across sub-par rugby commentary.
Maybe Channel 4's producers decided that they should be more like football (i.e. not very good, talk nonsense, use "like" and "yunow" as often as possible, etc.). It wouldn't surprise me if they wanted it to appeal to a new audience.
Football punditry? Please. If rugby or cricket pundits performed to the same level they'd never be invited back.
Most TV commentators could do with watching some of Dan Maskell's Wimbledon commentary.
