Bulgaria have previous on this so why have they been allowed to take part in the qualifiers?

If they are going to be allowed to take part, just get on with the bloody game without stopping it for abuse every 20 mins. The authorities can deal with that later.

I'm sure that it hasn't gone over the heads of the FA, UEFA and FIFA that the Rugby World Cup is going on at the moment and they are proving that it's possible for fans to come together in close proximity without fighting and without fans of either side giving racist abuse to the players.

Eleven men walked onto that pitch. And that team has every right to walk off if anyone of them is abused in anyway, together as a team.

You might prefer to think that but by definition the 'rules' ARE the highest authority on the subject.

If teams were just allowed to walk off whenever they felt like it, there'd be nothing to keep them on the pitch whilst they are getting a battering, as in Clariman's joke/extreme example.

Currently, if a racist ­incident is reported to the referee by a player, then a tannoy announcement will be made. If it happens again the referee can take the players off the field for a short period and make a second announcement, and if it occurs a third time, only then can the match be abandoned.
