That appears to be what Renaldo wanted but I wonder if he is getting any payoff for the remainder of his contract.

That is a pity.
I'd imagine that an agreement has been reached to prevent both sides the expense fo a prolonged legal dispute.
He was only on £500k a week, with 32 weeks left to serve. What's 16 million between friends?

Apparently not, but I suspect that he can afford it.
What club would want him now? Or could afford him at age 37?
