2 minutes ro go. Liverpool 2-2 [expletive deleted] and it's back in Man Citys hands. On goal difference. And the pair meet soon. Epic ending at Anfield though

It's considered good manners to avoid spoilers on a sports board discussion.

Anyway.....

The table.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/pr ... ague/table

[expletive deleted] 6pts ahead after playing one more game. Manchester Citys goal difference is better though. Assuming MC win their game in hand, the crunch game could be Wednesday the 26th of April where the 2 meet

Thanks.
Now, can you explain St Mirren's chances of being top half at the split after beating Hearts there, with games against Rangers and Killie to go? I'm worried about Hibs spoiling it

I'm not too fussed who wins it but I think I slightly favour City. The infrequent hiccup aside, their football has, at times, been sublime.

It's also a battle at the other end of the table. None of the bottom 9 teams is safe. Shocks will be on the cards like Palace's demolishion of Leeds.
Royball2 is proving rather effective! Signifcantly with no Zaha. I wonder if the board are reconsidering their offer of £200k per week? He certainly wasn't missed yesterday.

Given that I don't want City or Man U to win (or Liverpool or Chelsea), the one I don't want to win the most is [expletive deleted].

Mrs DM is a Newcastle fan so I guess I could live with all the other three teams losing all the rest of their games* and them squeezing through.

DM

*yes, I know, but you can dream can't you?

PS The BB software auto deleted the name of the other team, which I think is quite appropriate really.

Arteta really sticks his neck out
Southampton are stranded at the bottom
"[expletive deleted] manager Mikel Arteta says he is "very confident" his Premier League leaders can return to winning ways when they host Southampton on Friday."

what a brave prediction

Looks like it's pretty much a 'must win' for Team Camel after Assnal squeezed a draw out of Southampton.

BT Sport. Kick off @ 8pm.

As well as being a must win for Citeh, it's also pretty much a must not lose for [expletive deleted]. Saying that, both teams have a their share of potential trip hazards on the way in - and Man City have Real Madrid in the Champions League semis too.

Leeds battered at Bournemouth. Jees they've shifted some goals lately. Southampton are gone (ok not mathematically).

Leeds and Everton going down is a rather pleasing thought.....

Well, I think that's the title race pretty much done and dusted - shocks do happen though.

The race now is at the other end of the table

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/tables

Leicester v Everton tomorrow though. No matter what, the result will not be decisive. A draw would put Everton on 29 points and the 3 teams above them on 30 points all having played 34 games with 4 to go.

3 teams on 30pts and 1 on 29. Very tight.

Big relegation battle today. With Leeds beaten earlier in The week today sees all the other teams in action.

Fulham are 2 nil up v Leicester after only 10 mins. Later its Nottingham Forests against Southampton (a Southampton win would see them right back in play) and before that Brighton take on Everton.
