Now aged 28, I don't know how much longer Real Madrid's patience is going to last effectively having a highly paid part-timer on the books. I can hear the groans coming from the supporting 'maridistas' fans of "not again!". While Bale is playing well when fit, Zindane is having to keep the Welshman wrapped up in cotton wool. Like all athletes with blistering speed there's a tendency to breakdown too often and once it becomes a habit the writings on the wall.
