hi all I have had new computer for 4 week and I keep getting HMMM cant reach page is it the computer or BT net work kind regards cloedan

How do you connect to the BT router?

Wired or wireless?

And the inevitable “have you tried switching it off for a while, then back on again?”

The router, that is.

Also have you been able to get the internet from some other device using the same router with or without a cable?

Assuming it is a standard BT router, are you using the filters that should have been supplied with it?

Also, does the router show the steady light indicating that it is (supposedly) working?

If it is showing that it should be working, can you find another device, computer or smartphone or tablet and get the WiFi signal?

Here are the steps to solving the problem in Windows 10:
In Cortana (Type here to search) type in services.
Click on the Services App that pops up above
Look down the list for DNS Client
Right click the DNS Client line and then click restart
