Does anyone know how to (if it's possible at all) to get Gmail on Android 7 to see textual URLs as links and allow them to be clickable (tap-able)?
By textual URLs I mean text like, e.g. "http://www.example.com" in a message without being in an HTML <A> tag.
My main reason for asking is that the TLF Topic reply notification emails are plain text and, as such, have the URLs in them that way, and so I can't just tap to follow them on my phone; I have to tediously copy'n'paste 'em instead. (HTML links in messages work fine.)

Re: Textual URLs in Gmail on Android 7
I just pressed on the link in your post, and was offered the opportunity to open it in Chrome.
Admittedly I haven't tried it in Gmail.
