Skype (on ipad) split screen

When using the latest version of Skpe (with two of us speaking to two others) the screen on my iPad is in two parts - the left half shows most of the two call receivers, but the right half only shows one of us as callers. (It used to show us as callers in a box, formerly at the bottom right corner, and then with 'new' Skype top in the top right corner.).
Please can someone very kindly tell me what I am probably getting wrong and how to fix it.
