win 8 PC.

Has always a local user account login (no password) for the acocunt user1. ie PC boots goes straight into user1, no passowrds etc.

Ive set up microsoft onedrive which reuqired a MS account - I created a new one for this.

I now find that the user1 local account needs a login with the credentials of the onedrive account!

How do I go back to the previous position of just being user1 no login needed ?

Not quite, user1 is now signing in with a Microsoft account instead of a Local account. You can easily switch from one to the other and back again.

Switch user1 back to signing in with a local account. Tutorial here...
