Have you tried flushing the DNS cache?

Re: lse.co.uk down?
Another option might be that the LSE site is not 'secure' (HTTPS) so if you have security settings screwed down in FF that may be an issue?

Hi Fred, No problems here using either Firefox or Opera on Windows 10.
Might it be your Firewall or are you in some obscure country that blocks it?!

If you don't want to install/uninstall another browser you can use a USB flash drive with portable apps...https://portableapps.com/apps/internet

Apologies, Chrome not working either on the laptop. But OK on my Android phone. Not the end of the world.
OK, well at least that points more to something global rather than browser specific.

Re: lse.co.uk down?
Have you done a 'restart' on the laptop (not shutdown) as that will generally clear any sticky bits after say a W10 update.

IIRC, LSE was down fora couple of days a while back too. Probably be back soon, I guess.
It's working fine for me, maybe because you are in Oz you are getting a different mirrored server issue elsewhere, but that doesn't really explain why it works OK on your phone...

I feel a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of bat-shit-crazy ramping wanna-be trader testosterone types cry out in rage as their favourite fight-club fails to load.
I guess there is always ADVFN.
