Santa has, belatedly, bought me a new iPad2.
I would appreciate thoughts on moving my stuff from the old to the new, I.e. via iTunes or iCloud.
A mate says iCloud is favourite?
I guess if I went for iTunes I would have to install it first on my W10 laptop?
Your collective thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: New iPad.....moving stuff over
I've done a couple of iPhone migrations recently using iTunes on a Mac. It was pretty quick, easy and trouble-free and you have the reassurance of a backup sitting on your hard drive. However my iTunes was already set up and working like a well-oiled machine -- I can't say what issues you might have with your particular OS/iTunes combo...
In general I just prefer the greater control of having the entire process on my own hardware rather than relying on some remote Apple servers running software I can never install via possibly flaky intermediary servers and all at internet transfer speeds rather than USB speeds.
