Microsoft 'Teams' no audio (but PC mic and spkr work

Have recently developed an issues with Teams, which we are now using rather than Lync
I can join a call but can't hear the other participants
They can hear me OK
My headset works- I can hear the connection 'noises' etc
After 30 seconds or so I get a We can't connect you message - retry or cancel
It was working until earlier this week, and nothing has changed (that I know of)
Any ideas?

Kinda think this might be addressed better here (left a link from DAK). - Chris

So other apps have sound? Other apps can connect to the internet?

My first guess would be a virus checker/firewall/security package preventing the app from connecting to the internet. Or perhaps using one particular type of connection. Ensure the application it has the correct priveledges enabled in the virus checker. This might also explain why it has changed as virus checkers are updated frequently.

One of our IT helpdesk chaps remotely logged on yesterday - no idea, so have a visit to the IT Support cave at HQ on Monday. Oh joy.
Some sort of 'network issue '....
