Surround sound demo files

A little while ago THX released the latest of their surround-sound videos, with the 35th Anniversary 'Genesis' trailer setting a new high for audio and video quality.

Anyone wanting to show off their surround-sound system might like to take a look, especially if you've got a good sub-woofer...

YouTube video (set for 1080p)- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crh0bcHRK5s

I'm not sure what the digital-audio configuration is with the above video sample, so the above link is just provided to give a taste of the trailer, and so to get the best surround-sound experience it might be worth downloading the original MKV file for your digital set-up, and playing it via a digital-sound enabled player -

For anyone wanting to give it a go, I'd recommend turning the sound fairly low first, as it starts with a bit of a rattle...

Enjoy!

Cheers,

It works ok on Amazon Prime, Sky etc.

.....or do I need to be signed into YouTube?

Honest answer is that I'm not too sure, and I probably don't know enough about the Firestick to help too much.

Does selecting one of the 1080P 'Genesis' MKV files in the previous-post 2nd URL let you play it via that method?

Alternatively, does the Firestick have a browser that can use the following link to play it instead of YouTube?
