hi all have virgin cable tv and broad band and i am having problems with picture freezing and breaking up when recording from bt sport when its breaking up if I go off record to live tv, the picture is ok will it be a box at fault? have reset unplugged cant understand if its playing ok on tv why it records breaking up

I've had a similar problem on an old Humax where the hard disk was failing. This happened on recording all channels though, not just on one. If it's just problematic on one channel (BT Sports) then it's unlikely to be that.

Virgin equipment is rented so it's their responsibility. Just call 150 if you have a Virgin landline and report the fault.
