Backing up and reading text messages

I’m looking for software that will allow me to download and save my iPhone text messages as, say, PDF files. I have purchased a program called AnyTrans which isn’t much good.

I’ve just tried another program called TouchCopy which says it can’t find iTunes on my PC – I can see it, it’s been on for years.

Can anyone recommend anything that works?
