Afternoon all,
I have a win10 laptop which won't load stockopedia. I've tried IE and Chrome and they're both the same, just a blank page. Every other webpage opens okay, and stockopedia opens okay on my other win 7 laptop.
In the address bar of both machines it shows a ! and says the connection is not secure, is this normal?
Thanks.
Doug

Stockopedia won't load in Win 10
Re: Stockopedia won't load in Win 10
Well according to its website it should run better on IE10 than on IE7 - http://help.stockopedia.com/your-account/support/technical-requirements
I suspect it may just be a cookies/cache issue - go to the FAQs tab at the bottom of the link page and it has step by step guides for clearing both from various browsers. Also, sometimes with touchy websites I sometimes find that they can behave better using a hidden/incognito browser page.

I am not a Win user but am a Stockopedia subscriber from way back. I suggest emailing Ed Croft the CEO and team as they have always been keen to know of any problems with people using their site and always give sensible responses and helpful solutions. If you cannot access the contact link on your computer try ed@stockopedia.com

Do you have a problem with all the Stockopedia pages, those prefixed with just 'http', such as this one:
http://www.stockopedia.com/
Or is it just those that are 'https', such as the login?:
https://www.stockopedia.com/auth/login/

Thanks for the replies.
I have found that incognito makes no difference.
The first of RC's links didn't work, but the second 'https' one did. What does this mean?

Both links work fine for me in Windows 10 with any browser. The only thing I can suggest is that something (your AV perhaps?) is forcing all your connections to be https. The first link is plain http, adding the 's' to make it https://www.stockpedia.com/ gives...
Look very carefully at your browser's address bar, are all http addresses becoming https? Or perhaps your AV is set to block access to 'insecure' http sites?
