TSB Logon screen disappears in Firefox

Hi Folks,

Win 10. Strange one but I go to the TSB logon screen in Firefox 55.03. It appears for a very brief moment then I get a blank Firefox screen. However if I move the mouse to where the 'Logon' button is and click it proceeds as normal. I have cleared the cache and tried it as a different PC user, same result. In Chrome and Edge all is as it should be. Not the end of the world, but odd. I've done online banking for years now including TSB.

Any ideas?
Ray.

Which screen? This one? https://online.tsb.co.uk/personal/logon/login.jsp
Looks normal to me (W10/FF55.0.3).

To test if it's a cache or cookies problem, try it in a Private Browsing session. Use Ctrl+Shift+P to start one.

It's OK with me and I've just upgraded to FF 56.0, so you could try that.

Thanks for the heads-up - so have I now. No change - still works.

Another test raybarrow could try is to create a new Firefox profile and see it that works. You can create and use a new profile without affecting your original one by running the Firefox Profile Manager. Run Firefox from the command line or the 'Run' dialog box with the '-p' parameter. I have a shortcut set up to run mine (I like to have a choice of four different profiles for different purposes) it's:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p

Hi,

Firefox 56 makes no difference.

Breelander. It's not that screen, it's the one before it that gives you the choice of personal or business banking. In a new private window it behaves as it should so looks like it's something in the profile. I'll have a look when I have a moment, as I said it's not a major problem, just a quirky annoyance.

Cheers,
Ray.
