I have an electric door on my double garage. The door is white and has a textured/woodgrain plastic type finish (not UPVC) that has become impregnated with dirt. A similar door can be found on the link here:

I've tried many detergents to clean it as well as Jif/Cif but the dirt seems so embedded that it won't shift. I've even resorted to using a light scrubbing brush but not even that works.
I have written to the manufacturer for advice but have not received a response.
I would welcome ideas for a suitable product as the door is becoming unsightly?

Re: What to Use to clean garage door
My door sounds similar .
I use Astonish Mould and Mildew ....its in a spray bottle usually available in poundshops,Home Bargains etc alongside other Astonish products (for just a pound )
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=aston ... HkUxjNM%3A
Spray it on, leave for 5 mins and rinse off with a brush in warm water .
Best trial it on an inside corner just in case and best not used on a windy day as it can make you cough ! ( strong stuff!)

I had a similar problem on a white coated garage door with a small area of bird mess discolouration that nothing would remove and had to resort to bleach diluted down and used sparingly as a last resort.

Plastic can be painted. It doesn't have to be boring white.
Oil gloss. Two coats.
No primer.
Degrease and rub down first.

Never tried on a garage door but baby wipes do a fantastic job on plastic garden furniture!

I know you mention that it's not a UPVC door, but I have had great success with this product.
