The strip at the bottom of the shower screen has gone brown and soaking it in bleach has made no difference to it.
Is there anyway of getting it clean again, or am I better off just buying a new one?
Also, people who use such things, how often do you remove it for cleaning?

Re: Shower screen strip
Mine disintegrated after about 2.5 years, long before I felt the need to clean it (low standards maybe?). Just saw one for about £7 on Amazon. In my case it's clear what I need to do; in your's I think you need to balance the effort involved in cleaning it with that £7. C.

Buy a new one it is as this one is much older than 2.5 years.

Re: Shower screen strip
Experienced the same problem: ours gets a slight pink tinge over time!
Have used this company to get replacement shower seal strips, which last about 2-3 years before I need to replace it:

Re: Shower screen strip
For cleaning all things mouldy and discoloured in the bathroom or kitchen rather than bleach I I have had success using caustic soda solution, however I have been thinking about replacing my shower strip as it's become grubby and stiff.
