I've got a Screwfix voucher for 10% off.

You do have to spend over £30 to get the discount. The voucher says 'Order over £30' so I don't need to buy a single item.

Ideas for what would you buy please?

B.

I would put it towards my radiators, which I still haven't bought.

Or buy spare lamps for my kitchen as they keep blowing and are £13 each! I have 12.

I'd spend it on something that I've always wanted but never quite managed to find in the shops. A tube of hammer grease, a set of left-handed screwdrivers, or a can of tartan paint. Or maybe a bag of bubbles for the spirit level. Oh, and four candles, obviously.

Seriously, if I didn't already have them in my house, I'd splash out on a proper 45 metre cable reel (https://www.screwfix.com/p/masterplug-h ... 240v/47295) or one of their truly wonderful wet and dry vacuums (https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb351 ... 240v/56239). Don't know how I ever lived without them. ;)

We've got the smaller and cheaper wet-and-dry vacuum - https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb350vac-1300w-16ltr-wet-dry-vacuum-cleaner-240v/36516

Fantastic bit of kit - almost indestructible, and a dream bit of equipment for any DIY'er who likes to make a mess...

Other key Screwfix kit -

MacAllister folding workstation - https://www.screwfix.com/p/mac-allister-folding-workstation/2320p

Li'l Larry LED torch - https://www.screwfix.com/p/nebo-ne6373-lil-larry-led-torch-3-x-aaa/9107v

Speedfit 15mm stop-ends - https://www.screwfix.com/p/jg-speedfit-pse4615wp-stop-end-15mm-2-pack/94176

Speedfit 22mm stop-ends - https://www.screwfix.com/p/jg-speedfit-pse4622wp-stop-end-22mm-2-pack/18562

Anyone who's ever going to open up any 15mm or 22mm pipes in their home should have some speed-fit stop-ends handy....great bits of kit...

Cheers,

Itsallaguess

Heartily agree, also get a couple of these pipecuuters https://www.screwfix.com/p/rothenberger ... tter/36198 and https://www.screwfix.com/p/rothenberger ... tter/24477
They'll save you the emergency call out fee to a plumber if a pipe bursts or a joint is damaged, cut at the break and end cap. Those particular cutters can be used in installed plumbing even with pipe right next to the wall.

Gaffer tape
A hammer
WD40

Then I'm sorted for any eventuality.

Definitely: my bacon was saved by 15mm stop-ends many years ago when I was using a pipe-freezer kit that unexpectedly had a blockage in the freeze-fluid department.

My other 'must-have' would be a head-torch. I use one of Screwfix's Elwis torches - £29.99 at the moment and worth every £.

I carry these about with me all over the place as part of my "emergency kit" for when I next hammer a floorboard nail through a water pipe or get too exuberant with my multitool when cutting through a floorboard over unseen pipes. C.
