I have a slight leak on the inlet to my toilet cistern. I thought I'd take the opportunity to replace all the internals for better quality stuff.
My cistern has a dual pushbutton in the lid, with rods going straight down to the flush mechanism below. However all the kits I've seem have the button connected by cable to the flush. This, for example: https://www.toolstation.com/skylo-botto ... ack/p71608
Is it ok to use this, or do I need a specific pushrod one?
And can anyone recommend a reliable brand or specific kit (or any other tips)?
Scott.

Re: Toilet cistern kits
Highly recommend these people. Tell them the toilet make and model and/or send pictures inside the cistern. They will identify the correct parts and mail them to you. Have used them a couple of times over the last few years. Link -
