How did it go?

I ask as I am thinking of making the effort to go next time ... I went to one of the TMF socials but so many years ago I'm embarassed ... can't remember when it was but must be 12+ years ago!

Met JakNife, Dave Stredder and some others ... would be good to put faces to names ... esp. some who I've corresponded with for years off and on as well ... PinkDalek for instance!

It went very well - good turnout
We'll probably do an Autumn Social Sept/Oct. Watch this space!

I'm going to be homeless after 1 October, so may turn up with my possessions in a shopping trolley...

I'll put a reminder in my calendar to kick something off in September. Are we all reasonably 'happy' with the Clachan, or do we want to go round the alternatives again ? I know it's expensive and quite busy, but that's par for the course for London.

For a London Social it falls at the first hurdle, although i'd love to do one of those . Perhaps we could have a Hampshire social on the Alton/Winchester axis ?!

At least we could sit down. Presumably we could play a sort of musical chairs and swap places in carriages so we could talk to everyone. Getting to Alton could be a problem though. Better in the summer, however. Bit pointless in Autumn when it's dark.
