Well normally AleisterCrowley (AC) or I have a moan on an unrelated board about the length of time since the last meet-up. One or other of us (usually he) starts a laborious conversation on Lemon Socials about which day and whether Friday is so bad after all. Whatever day is suggested someone pops up and says they can't make it. Punctuated by periods of silence this repeats itself until we are all thoroughly fed up and just declare a day by cloning some archaic, cobwebby post he crafted an age ago.Clariman wrote:csearle wrote:Can I just say that out of all our obtuse ways of arriving at a date for a social this is the most entertaining?

So what would be the normal way?

so where are we meeting?
And what time? And how many are coming?
Does it need another poll to count attendance?
Roll call....

Some of us will be wearing Lemon Fool badges. We are often outside - 'behind the line' against the wall
It is quite a busy pub, but there’s normally space in the back/outside and it does thin out a bit as the evening progresses and the after work crowd head home

Why not book a table?
