Scottish Independence Day Social?

Maybe not what you are thinking, but....

Is there any interest in a meet-up for a few drinks & maybe a bite to eat on the evening of (US) Independence day Tuesday 4th July?

We don't need a huge number of folk to sign up to this but I just thought that given the failure to get going again since the fool boards closed, it might be worth trying to kick something off.

I'm open to venue suggestions. Personally I'd prefer a real ale bar in south or central Edinburgh.

I am west of Glasgow so Edinburgh is feasible, but not that attractive.
Oddly enough I will be in the London area on that date. And I have no particular desire to celebrate one of the UKs worst foreign affairs cock-up.

Even so I would be up for a social.

Surely we should be celebrating on 17th September?
