There will be an informal gathering of Lemon Fools (and friends) near Regent St/Oxford Circus on the 30th JUNE. All welcome ! It’s a social evening rather than being ‘investment focused’, although we do occasionally discuss investing….

Directions:
Oxford Circus tube is the closest. On exiting the tube, head SOUTH down Regent St towards Piccadilly Circus. Take the second left after about 600ft (a short amble) into Gt Marlborough St. Almost immediately on your right, before the mock Tudor façade of Liberty London, is an archway which is Kingly Street (more alley than street). The Clachan is on the left a short distance down .
If you get lost ask for directions to Liberty.
How to find the Fools.

Food:
If you need food get something on the way, or order in the Clachan. They have a pretty reasonable menu and food in Nicholson’s pubs is normally good. You might have trouble finding a table though.


EMERGENCY PLAN B----
If the Clachan is closed due to unforeseen circumstances (fire, flood, locusts) I suggest a retreat to The Blue Posts (18 Kingly St) which is a short way beyond the Clachan on the left. No idea what it’s like, but it’s a pub. I will try to post ON THIS BOARD if we have to change venue [unlikely]

What's the answer? Last time I think it was look for a crowd around yellow balloons, or something similar, standing in the road.

If the things turn up in time I'm going to be wearing a lemon badge with my name on it (got one for you too Terry).

There's every liklihood we'll be outside. If people don't see the lemon badges then just ask random groups if they are lemons, Fools, or some such. Any bust-ups will indicate to us that a new arrival needs rescuing.

Well done that man!
It does mention '30th March' once, but unlikely to confuse non-Time Lords.
The Clachan is actually open until 11.30 on Fridays, but what with trains and stuff its unlikely to make a difference.
I certainly don't want to end up on the Midnight Meat Train...

Hopefully a few more - my attendance is dependent upon my being fully recovered - been ill for a week, but feeling better. If I can go to work, I can go out!

I was also ill last week (on holiday too, fainted on the flight from Lyon to Naples and felt very groggy for a few days) and am really tired now, but working at home tomorrow so can catch up a bit and will be up to it Friday.

Great Mel, bluedonkey, see you both there. I'm electricking at a house in Raynes Park Friday (motorbiking there with my toolbox riding pillion). After work I'll leave my toolbox in my mate's van, bike to Orpington, change into civvies and train it in. That way I won't have to leave early to get the last train back to Tunbridge Wells (Orpington is much better served).

Have fun everyone! I'll make the effort to turn up at one some time, but cannot do this one. Too far and have a wedding to attend tomorrow.

However, it would probably be more polite to make the effort to meet Stooz in person first - seeing as we first put a website together 12 years ago and still haven't met face to face!
