Right, we have sort of settled on a Friday. 6pm 'til chucking out (approx)
Location The Clachan (nr Regent St) as usual , unless anyone has any better suggestions.
Pick all the dates you could possibly attend (max 4). If you can't do Fridays, tick that option and none of the others please!

So how come there are two votes for the 13th (one being mine) and only one for the 27th (mine?

Perhaps because, when you click on the red circle it took me to the first post, not showing the poll, which was above that post.

I could have saved myself a post.

Don't worry, it is a known thing. One can land on the post after the poll, without noticing the poll itself. Possibly via Quick links - new posts etc or unread posts in Terry's case.

Poll being mentioned in the subject header does assist though.

I've asked for the post to be pinned so more people see it. Looks like 3rd November is in the lead - which coincidentally would be the Lemon Fool's first birthday...although there was no 'public' traffic until 4th November

There isn't an option for Fridays are good for me, but not any of those Fridays!

I didn't want to extend it out into November beyond the 3rd as this was originally planned for September! Also , the office C*r*s*m*s party season starts worryingly early. This is a democracy* though, so feel free to suggest other dates

I will be in London and able to make it on 27th, and only on that option I'm afraid. It would be great if that was the winning entry, as it has been ages since I last had a pint or two with a few Fools.

I'm presuming that this will result in a switch of votes away from that particular date, but as we are in a tightly contested poll, I thought I should throw it out there.

I think I met you once at one of the Reading socials (whatever happened to them ?!)

13th is in the past, 20th (this Fri) probably isn't going to happen.
27th (week on Friday) is in the lead currently, with 3rd Nov running second.

But I was thinking, go with the leader at 9am Friday - gives us time to do an announcement and publicise if (as looks likely ) 27th wins
