HMRC Access Code problem

#138030

Postby feder1 » May 10th, 2018, 11:07 am

Can't get a 6 digit access code which they are supposed to send to my landline. I've waited several minutes each time.

It has worked in previous years.

Have you got anonymous call rejection enabled?

Thanks for the thoughts.

After a while the phone rang with an access code. It didn't work.

Then another call hot on the heels of the first. Incorrect access code, i.e. it didn't work.

A little later a third phone call with a correct working access code!

The automated calls had formed a queue, coming in over about a period of an hour.

Tax assessment is now completed so I am happy.
