Are BHP franking credits in Australian dollars the same as tax deducted and is the Franked Amount of in Specie Dividend for Woodside shares, classed as a cash distribution on your tax return. Am I right in thinking that only Australian investors that claim back the franking credit.
Would be grateful, for any advice on this.
