The Lemon Fool

Currently the main board index has "Description wanted" under Your Tomorrow Starts Today.

I wondered what people thought of "Think it, Plan it, Do it" or some variation of that, such as "Think it, Plan it, Do it (with fellow Fools).

It's nearly the same as one of the TMF thread names, and I've had it on my phone lockscreen for over a year.

I like Penny's suggestion too. And it can encapsulate everything we might ever want to consider for our future wellbeing.

Hello again everyone, by the way - I was a long time lurker and sporadic poster on TMF since, ooh, 2002 or so, and it's about time I re-started doing the above. Our shiny new lemon-scented home might just encourage me to post a bit more. There's nothing like stating your goals in public to provide some impetus to attempting them.
Do we have sticky posts on this forum? If so, it might be useful to create a FAQ post/thread that explains what YTST is all about for new arrivals.

Hallo TLV, haven't seen you since you helped me choose a hybrid bike for TJ. He has still got that Edinburgh Courier, he has it as his second bike as well as his road bike.

We have a 'Welcome' thread about the purpose of the board, I could mine it for a FAQ. It has the original Fool purpose post embedded in it.

I quite like having "do it" as part of the sub-title. I'm quite good at planning, much less good at doing!

I see you still have "description required" hanging under the board title.

It could be changed quite easily if there was a firm favourite that was agreed on.

Think it, plan it, do it has been thought to be not quite descriptive enough.

The idea, I believe is to have a descriptor that the imaginary visitor from Mars could read and have a good idea of what the board is about.

How about something as prosaic as:

"Plan your month ahead, share and review it here"

If there was a consensus then the descriptor could be added quickly...one more job ticked off the list

However there is no rush to decide. It will take our visitor ages to get here from Mars.
