If the objective is yield for the OP, how about High Yield UK bond Investment Trusts ?

Well, this one, for example is 2.875%

Thanks, yes, all interesting.

And all completely lacking in US Treasury bonds, and hence the additional diversification I am after.

To remind everyone, and thank you all for your thoughts so far - I have a lot of Investment trusts including income, I have a lot of individual shares including high dividends, I have a lot of growth equity with no income, I have a number of individual Corporate Bonds and Prefs, including several in the top ten of the above Trusts. I also have two Government Bond ETFs.

What I don't have is any directly held US or UK Government Bonds.
