Charities Aid Foundation 5% Bonds - CAF1
Have just bought a few more of these, I reckon the YTM on these (they are due 1 April 2026) is a smidgen over 8% including HL costs
Re: Charities Aid Foundation 5% Bonds - CAF1
Interesting information
I have generally gone off buying retail bonds after the initial retail offer, due to the high spreads
Just looked at LSE - 91.50 / 98.45 - too much
You must have got a very good quotation!
I did't participate in the Charities Aid Foundation initial offer as the coupon was only 5%, perhaps other reasons at the time.
All my other Charity bonds have been sold, mainly in 2016 to fund a 25% pension drawdown (money then went mainly into a Stock / ShareISA)
All seems a very long time ago!
