Bond Fund Investment

I have no direct corporate bond holdings, but I have a modest amount in managed funds from Invesco and M&G. Thinking about de-risking a higher proportion of the portfolio, I'm contemplating increasing investment in this space.

Which leads me to wonder, are there any ITs in this space? If so, where should I look? If not, why not?

The AIC has three sectors with "debt" in the title, so your Broker's list of Investment Trusts with one or more of those sectors is a starting point.

ETFs and OEICs are more common though with the ITs seemingly specialising in the higher risk, higher yield end of the market. That's another way of saying that they try to make money out of junk and distressed bonds.

Thanks for the reply. I already looked at the AIC and wasn't drawn to what I saw: much of it looks, as you say, much higher risk, and the jargon goes over my head. The OIECs I already hold look much more comprehensible!

I guess you're saying, stick with the OEICs for growing this lower-risk section of the portfolio.
