Broker for Corporate Bonds

#479881

Postby sg31 » February 10th, 2022, 6:06 pm

I've had accounts with Halifax and ii for many years for buying shares but I've very rarely bought bonds I do have one or two bought through ii a few years ago. I now want to buy a bond that neither of my accounts are able to deal in.

Can anyone recommend a company that can deal in a wide range of bonds that is reasonably cost effective and efficient. The particular bond I want to buy is on the Luxembourg exchange ISIN Code USG91237AA87

Why not speak to the joint book runners or co-managers and see who they suggest might facilitate the secondary market?

I took a quick look. The price looks decent and I was interested but 200k minimum size is too much for me. HL do a few of the 100k bonds but I think they are happy to do them as they settle through CREST. I have no idea whether they will help with Luxembourg exchange

Thanks for the replies.

I tried HL and they can't help. I will follow up as suggested by dealtn.

Killik & Co will deal for you but you will need to prove you are an experienced or professional investor. Their dealers will negotiate for the best price in the market so good for illiquid or weird and wonderful stuff. They are not the cheapest but if you can get a good price it can be worthwhile.
