Firstly thanks. I've learned more about corporate bonds today from this forum than any other source. Grateful, very.
I am retired and keen to invest directly in Corporate Bonds, mainly UK, elsewhere too.
I have platform accounts with Fidelity, HL and Ii - and can find 'some' Corporate Bonds to invest in, but not that many.
Could someone please advise on the best search & purchase tool for this? Maybe that's two tools?
Many thanks

Re: Bonds - search and purchase
Welcome to The Lemon Fool Joewads.
I'll kick off the suggestions with the London Stock Exchange site. Use the filter settings "Instrument Type -> Bonds" and then sub-type Retail lists bonds in retail shapes, Gilts will list UK government bonds. The list is threadbare limiting its usefulness, but clicking on the EPIC link shows more information including the ISIN which you can use to search on google for more info.
I confess I don't often use this but it seems much improved over the old days. The main problem I found from my latest brief experiment is that the filters don't seem to have Preference Shares as an option.
Prospectuses/Terms are usually available at the issuer's web site in the Investor section, very important to read them for key features.

Re: Bonds - search and purchase
You might find these sources useful in identifying bonds:
https://www.europeanhighyield.online/
https://www.guybutler.co.uk/
I also have a list, not updated for some time, of 70 corporate sites that have information for their corporate bond holders.
You could also consider joining WiseAlpha using them for purchases, I do for research holdings, and then try and buy via your broker, but be aware that many bonds trade in large values. Depending how you join WiseAlpha, directly or via a wealth manager, purchase levels are an initial £100 or £1000, which may compare well to £100,000
https://www.wisealpha.com/about-us
I also like to see what NCYF are buying and they update that on their Fact Sheet https://ncim.co.uk/cqs-new-city-high-yield-fund-ltd/# (I also buy NCYF on a monthly purchase plan).
Hope it helps.
It's also worth checking our the ORB, Retail Bond section of the London Stock Exchange as mentioned above.
I also monitor RCB, Retail Charity Bonds, they issue bonds on ORB, and the IPO's will/should be available from you brokers
https://rcb-bonds.com/investors/
There's always a tight window for application I find, but I backed a number of them over the last years.
Many issuers post RSS, so looking through https://www.londonstockexchange.com/new ... s-explorer
and https://direct.euronext.com/#/

Thank you for that site, I've used it a couple of times.
yieldgimp, Fitch and European High Yield are places I now visit most days.
I should declare an interest in European High Yield, I am a WiseAlpha client and I hold their equity, in a small way, in my Seedrs portfolio.
