Anyone one got any ideas as to why UK Gilt prices rose after Thursday's rate rise?

(I'm no expert but...) possibly because the market had already priced in the rate increase that was announced, and also potential future increases to a lesser extent. Mr Carney's gloomy guidance on future growth and vagueness about future rate rises then challenged the assumption that more rises would indeed occur.

Interestingly the Ben Broadbent (Deputy Gov BoE) has since effectively contradicted Mr Carney, so they may bounce back (and the pound fall) on Monday.
