Taxation of Scottish Mortage dividends in ISA

#162826

Wasn't sure where to put this, so sorry if it's in the wrong place.
Today I recieved a tax credit in my ISA for dividend paid by Scottish Mortage IT.
I have held this IT in this ISA since 2005 and never had a tax reclaim before. What's changed?

The administrative competence of your ISA provider perhaps.

You can see tax reclaims in an ISA, but that's only if there's a Property Interest Distribution from a REIT or an interest distribution. I don't think either apply to the Scottish Mortgage Trust.

Update. They have apologised - wrong information, the refund was not for scottish mortgage but impact healthcare REIT .... makes sense now!
