One of the best ways to learn about investing is to listen to experts and the Mello Investment Trust and Funds Conference on 15th May is an excellent opportunity to do so.
Of particular interest may be the sector experts who can highlight the key performance indicators and the different business models that are working and not working in their sector of expertise.
Speakers you can learn from include:
Judith MacKenzie, Partner & Head of Public Equity at Downing LLP Judith manages the Downing UK Micro-Cap Growth Fund, and the Downing Strategic Micro-Cap Investment Trust plc.
Peter Pereira Gray, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Investments and works with a team managing Wellcome’s £20 billion multi-asset global investment portfolio. His responsibilities include overseeing Wellcome’s privately held assets (private equity, real estate, venture capital and private direct holdings).
Ben Rogoff, Lead manager of Polar Capital Technology Trust plc and co-manager of the Polar Capital Global Technology Fund. Ben joined Polar Capital in May 2003 and has been a technology specialist for 23 years.

I went to a Mello conference in Peterborough a couple of years ago, I thought it was very good and caused me to make radical changes to my portfolio.
Although I will not be going to this one, I thought it might be of interest to some folk on this board as there are, what looks like, some excellent speakers.
