Fundsmith new holding

#248716

Postby Avalaugh » September 2nd, 2019, 3:37 pm

I noticed today Fundsmith have started a new position according to their factsheet, just for the fun of it - might be interesting to see who can guess correctly what the new quality stock might be, my guess would be buying back into DPZ or perhaps UltaBeauty after it recently tanked,

cheers all,

IMB. New chairman will hopefully replace CEO and get it back on track

Well it could be IMB. TS complaint was not with the industry but with the management. Philip Morris is still a significant holding. Changes at the top may well have him back on board. Throw in Woodford recently being a clear and large seller and he maybe sniffing an opportunity. It is poss IMB gets taken out....

I kept my Nestle even after he sold up. Really glad I did! There is nothing like having 'Swiss francs' in your portfolio. Present direct holdings of his staple I hold include Microsoft, Pepsico, Diageo, Unilever, Johnson and Johnson, KONE, Philip Morris, L'Oreal, Estee Lauder. Of Smithson, Sabre and Christian Hansen.

Will be interested to see what Company it is given the research they put in.

Church and Dwight is the new holding, wow, not expecting that, growing at 8% with a PE of 30, not sure I love that pick,

The holding they have actually stated they have taken a position on is Brown Forman, in the latest factsheet.
