Free 'Investment Trusts Handbook 2020' e-book available for download.
Thanks LittleDorrit,
I suspect that the original link you've posted was the unique one emailed to you after requesting the free e-book on an earlier web-page, and since it's been used by a few people now (it's got a 5-download limit on it...) then it's currently not working.
For anyone wishing to generate their own download link, the following page can be used to do that, via the 'Download Free E-Book' button -
https://harriman-house.com/ithb2020?target=blank
I've just downloaded the PDF version using the above process, so thanks again for highlighting this.
Cheers,
Itsallaguess

Re: The Investment Trusts Handbook 2020
I'm off to buy some self-parking slippers..wonder if they are available from Amazon?
(page 81)
It runs neatly onto the section titled "Lost Soles" ..... page 85![Twisted Evil ](./images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)
"Davy Jones' Locker" ..? more like Davy Jones' Foot-Locker
Who says that the IT handbook ain't a fun read?

Odd - that table is completely missing from the ePub version (as viewed in Adobe Digital Editions, anyway) - I can see it in the pdf version. All the numbers look compatible with each other, and they're sorted by gain. I'd guess the full names are matched with the numbers, and the abbreviations have been sorted alphabetically.
I now wonder what else is missing from the ePub version.

Re: The Investment Trusts Handbook 2020
One thing that I did notice is that the table is spread over 2 pages and the page orientation changes from "vertical" (Page 15) to "horizontal" (Pages 16 & 17).
Page 18 is back to vertical orientation.

Re: The Investment Trusts Handbook 2020
Hello everyone,
Just a quick note from the publishing team.
Our apologies for the issue with the portfolio table - this has now been fixed in all files. If you redownload from Harriman House's site, the new file should have the correct table in.
There shouldn't be any other content missing in the ePub (this table was added very late in production, along with the Editor's Notes, so that they could be as up-to-date as possible on launch day).
The PDF does indeed move to landscape for some tables - this is where forcing the tables into a portrait layout would have led to very small and squashed columns.
I hope you all enjoy the book. If you value the handbook, please do leave a review on Amazon (even if you don't download or buy it there) or tell others about it (if you think they would get something out of it too). It makes an enormous difference - and will allow us to continue to offer the eBook version for free in future years!
Best wishes,
Chris

Probably being a bit thick but I can't see a 'Download Free E-Book' button, just says that if you purchase the hardback version for £24.99 free Epub version is included.

They no longer seem to be advertising a free download, this is the link I used, it might still work for a few more downloads:

Re: The Investment Trusts Handbook 2020
I downloaded and read the 2019 version a few months ago, but when I follow the download link now it tells me that I have already downloaded this book - so the latest version is presumable stored in the same location on their download server as the previous version was, which might be the cause of the problem. I have emailed them about this. Would be nice to have the latest version.

Re: The Investment Trusts Handbook 2020
Hi everyone,
Just a quick message to reassure you that the eBook version is definitely still free to download this year – if you head to the book's page on Harriman House store it will say 'eBook Free' next to a yellow download button. You have to download to your own email/user account.
No plans to stop offering it for free!
Best wishes,
Chris

Thanks Chris, and you're right, the 'Download' button is now back up and running on your website linked below, but it was definitely deactivated a few days ago when the above messages were discussing the same thing.

Anyhow, it's now back up and running, as we can see from the snapshot below -

I wasn't planning to read the new edition, despite enjoying the previous two editions.
I have now downloaded it, and enjoyed it very much, so thanks!
Just one point, the interview with Bruce Stout is very good, but at the end you show Murray International's ticker as MINT, when it should be MYI.

Re: The Investment Trusts Handbook 2020
I just thought I'd bump this thread - just to let anyone know who might be interested in reading the FREE e-book PDF version of the 'Investment Trust Handbook 2020', that the FREE download is still available by using the following link, and selecting the 'DOWNLOAD' button -
https://harriman-house.com/ithb2020
You need to give a valid email address, and then a download link will be sent to it straight away - I've just tested it and it's still working fine.
The book download is available in ePub, Kindle, or PDF version.
