I’ve been a top-up buyer today of Murray International (MYI) at 1210p per share. After a stonking share price run up that began two years ago with the upturn in emerging market sentiment, admittedly from a distressed base, progress over the last 12 months has been pedestrian at best. Share price is now down 8% from an all-time high of 1314p of six months ago, is trading more or less at par value and is on a minus Z score 1.07. With the cherry of the cake for me being a yield that is a couple ticks over the 4% mark, which hasn’t been seen for many a month. Add it all up and that’s why I’m a buyer – and, I’ll be even more of a buyer if the share price decline continues.
Say what you will about Bruce Stout, but he’s got a proven track record of regularly getting Murray International out-of-step with the market only to gallop ahead when least expected.

That is one that is on the the buy list for the wifes SIPP when a lump sum hits in the not too distant future.

Yes I bought a little early in September 2015 at £8.219 and then October 2015 at £8.6. The price fell back in January 2016 to under £7 and has not looked back since. This has always been a share to hold. My only woory is that Bruce Stout will not be there for ever.

Re: Murray International – Buying the weakness
I started a monthly savings plan with MYI in 1997 and kept it going for 5 years, my average price paid is £5.201 per share. I topped sliced in October 2007. I stopped reinvesting the divs in 2005. Good steady company, boring, just what I like. Only headache is the CGT liability if I transfered to an ISA.
